“Private Post Card” on the front. The attribution line with the words
“Entered According to Act of Parliament of Canada in the year 1898 by
The Toronto Lithographing Co. Limited, at the Department of Agriculture”
is printed in a light coloured ink to the right of the card.
This may be an example of the second issuance of this design.

under the printed matter rate using a pair of ½ cent QV Numeral stamps, postmarked
on December 18, 1902, arriving December 27th.

arriving in Paris on December 18th and at Nancy on December 20th
