Toronto Lithographic Co. Ltd., a Toronto-based publisher, created a wide variety of postcards in the early days of Canadian postcards, many of which were patriotics. Michael J. Smith’s The Canadian Patriotic Postcard Checklist 1989–1928 initially listed ten different series of patriotic cards from this publisher. In the upcoming The Canadian Patriotic, Heraldic & Royalty Postcard Handbook 1898–1938, Mike has updated the series numbering to include new cards and to renumber other series.
