This patriotic postcard shows an image of King Edward VII. It is one of four cards in a series of portraits of royalty published by the Toronto Lithographing Co. Limited. The card features a pair of shields flanking the image—the crest of Canada on the upper right, and of Great Britain on the lower left. This card is known in Smith's The Canadian Patriotic Postcard Checklist as TGL1-004, and is considered scarce.
